Design Project Management
Design is the means through which ideas are made visible. The client and the design team work closely together to define the scope of the project and each must recognize the other's area of expertise.

The following considerations should be addressed prior to beginning a project.

Corporate Image How is this project expected to fit into the company identity program?

Integration How will this project relate to other (existing or future) communication strategies?

Medium What means will best convey the message appropriate for the target audience? Should this project work equally well in a variety of media?

Budget What is an adequate and acceptable budget for this project?

Approvals Who will be responsible for the necessary approvals and will they be available when required?

Schedule What is a realistic schedule which will meet the intended project objectives?

A systematic approach to communication planning combined with task analysis and a definition of the performance objectives produces measurable results – on time and on budget.
